Childhood home of Sir Alexander Fleming

How to find us
Travelling by car via the M74 from the south leave at junction 8 and take the A71 towards Kilmarnock for approximately 14 miles. On approaching the Darvel village sign take the next turning on the right, follow this road to the crossroads, turn left and continue for approximately two miles, passing Feoch farm entrance. On approaching Laigh Bradley farm on the left, the entrance to Lochfield Farm road is on the right-hand side. Lochfield Farm is set in an elevated position approached by and at the end of a 1-mile private road.
